These clay diya/deepa are made by a SHG in the Villupuram region of Tamil Nadu. The painting on these is done by rural women from the Jigni village near Bengaluru.
Diyas will hold enough oil for a burn time of about 1 hour. After use wipe with cotton wool, do not use water to clean.
Our tradition of lighting the lamp signifies the beginning of a day's prayer, an auspicious event, festival. Not only that, it adds aesthetic beauty and positivity to our surrounding.
Light it up, this festival season with these beautiful diyas hand-crafted by a group of rural potters artisans from Kutch, Gujarat. They aim to keep their art alive at your homes.
Traditional and vibrant they're perfect for decorating your homes and great for gifting too!
Note : each piece is hand-made and unique, designs may slightly vary.
