Qty :Free Range Eggs by "Farm Made" Antibiotic Free. Omelettes, egg poach, and other such dishes come out fluffier and fuller!
Like any other product that is launched in Healthy Buddha, we have identified these eggs keeping in mind our health aspect, taste, and humane treatment of hens. We believe if the hen is treated right (And NOT like a caged prisoner whose only job is to lay eggs), and they are fed natural elements, they will give excellent healthy egg.
"Farm Made" Free Range Eggs Comes from a farm in Tamilnadu. Eggs are produced using traditional farming methods, ensuring highest animal protection standards. Their diet does NOT contain antibiotics, growth promoters, hormones or any such substances.
The poultry farm is located inside organic coconut farm. The Farm have less than 700 birds per acre, the birds are free to roam day & night. They have an enclosure which they can choose to return in the night if they feel like. The chickens are feed on natural feed like corn, soya, maize & other grains. The farms have their own feed mill & hence have strict quality measure on feed. They aren't given any antibiotics or steroids or growth hormones.
If you are not familiar with free range and wondering why it is much expensive than what you get locally. Please read this article.

Why do some eggs have a darker yolk?Egg yolk colour can range from pale yellow to deep almost orange hue. The colour of the yolk is influenced by the type of feed the chickens have ingested. Corn based feed generally has a darker yolk. In Free range farms the diet cannot be controlled totally, so our hens choose to eat according to their liking.Yolk colour does not affect the flavour, nutritive value or quality of the egg.Sometimes, brown eggs will have a strong fishy smell. There are two possibilities as listed below:A. Interestingly, in some hens that lay brown eggs, eating too much canola or rapeseed meal can cause a fishy smell in the eggs. Not all hens are affected by the process that causes the smell. The smell is caused by the accumulation of trimethylamine (TMA) in the yolk. Most hens metabolise the TMA into another (odourless) compound, but brown egg hens don't do that as efficiently, so when feeding canola meal, in some cases you may end up with fishy smelling eggs. White egg hens do not have this character.B. Omega-3 is a fat that’s most often found in fish but it’s also found in flaxseed and other things. And the interesting thing about Omega-3 fat is that it can have a fishy scent and taste no matter where it comes from. It’s just a natural characteristic of Omega-3 fats. So the reason your fish tastes and smells like fish is because it’s filled with Omega-3 fats.Vegetables also have Omega-3 fats, just not as much as fish or flaxseeds. So if chickens have been fed squash, lots of leafy greens or beans that could burst up their Omega-3 intake and make your eggs fishy the odd time. The fishy smelling eggs are safe to eat. Even after cooking in some cases the eggs smell can be strong. You may also likeRs149 - 1 BottleThe Original Booch kombucha is made with Champagne of teas, Darjeeling's finest
