Quite honestly, we are forced to make this change. After lengthy discussion with our beloved ghee maker ramakanth, with whom we have been working with since 9 years now.
He really needs a steep increase to sustain his goshala. He mentioned all his input cost has in-creased quite a bit.
Dry ragi fodder – cost increase by 200%. Green fodder – cost increased by 100%.
With bangalore water scarcity issue – cost of water increased doubled. 
Earlier 25-26 litres to make ghee. Now, because of summer heat, it takes 31-32 litres to make a litre of ghee.
So factoring all this, we have increased the price of ghee.

While we will continue to sell this ghee. However, for the price sensitive customers, we are in talks with another ghoshala in North India to get you an alternative which is more cost competitive.
