Really great Guavas from Ramakrishnappa Farm

I wanted to take a moment to share something that's really close to my heart: our guavas from Ramakrishnappa’s farm, located just on the outskirts of Bangalore near Nelamangala. Both red and white varieties.

This farm is one of my absolute favourites and has been for many, many years. In fact, in the early days of Healthy Buddha, I had the pleasure of personally taking some of our customers on farm visits here. It’s a place that stays with you.

It's run by two humble and passionate brothers who live right on the farm. Their home sits amidst about 3 to 4 acres of pure, organic love. They follow natural farming practices with such dedication, and it really shows. Not just in the produce, but in the energy of the place.

They keep a few native cows and bulls, which they literally worship. These aren’t just animals for them. They’re family. And maybe that's why the guavas from this farm stand out so distinctly in taste. They’re grown with care, respect, and a lot of heart.

Every time I’ve visited, they never let me leave without a glass (or two!) of their spicy machige (buttermilk). It’s absolutely refreshing and so delicious that I’ve often taken a few bottles home with me. Here is a screenshot of what I had posted many years back on my instagram account.
