This aromatic and flavorsome rice comes from farms in the Northern belt. Brown basmati rice is full of different nutrients and contains a mixture of vitamins and minerals that correspond to its rich flavor and nutty aroma.

In general, brown rices are more full of nutrients than their white rice relatives, and brown basmati rice is one of the most nutrient-rich of them all. One of main reasons why brown rice is healthier is because while processing, only the outermost layer, the hull, of the rice kernel is removed and hence is the least damaging to its nutritional value.

Uses: Brown basmati rice generally cooks more quickly. It is recommended to rinse the rice well before cooking and soak it in water for 30-45 minutes. Ration of rice to water can be in the proportion of 1:2-2.5 cups
