Robusta Cherry comes from certified organic farms in Kodagu Hills. Arabiaca from BR Hills where it is grown by adivasi coffee growers and has always been organic.
This initiative is driven by Black Baza. It is a social and conservation enterprise project that protects farmers, forests and wildlife by creating high quality, chemical free coffees that are grown under the shade of indigenous forest trees. As a social enterprise, they work with adivasi coffee growers in BR Hills towards livelihoods security such that they can continue to grow coffee without any chemical inputs. They currently work with 31 farmers in BR Hills.
